Essential Information

Located about 45 km north of the Farafra Oasis town.
The best time to visit is from October to March.
Original passports are required for military checkpoints along the road.
Pack warm clothing as night temperatures drop very low.
Only 4x4 vehicles can drive safely through the soft sand.
No mobile signal exists deep inside the desert park boundaries.
Carry plenty of water and snacks for the long journey.
