About Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

Ubud Monkey Forest is one of those places that many Dubai travellers add while checking Bali tour packages because it offers something different from beaches and shopping streets. The moment you step inside, the noise fades. Tall trees cover the paths, soft light falls through the leaves, and monkeys move freely around you. There are no cages, which makes the experience feel natural and calm.

This forest sits right in central Ubud, making it easy to visit without a long travel time. It protects hundreds of long-tailed macaques and also preserves old temples that locals still respect. You walk slowly, watch the monkeys interact, and notice small details like stone carvings and moss-covered walls.

I am often told this place helps travellers slow down. You are not rushing. You are observing, smiling, and enjoying a quiet side of Bali that feels real and memorable.

About Tickets or Entry Fees

The entry fee is AED 20 to AED 25 per adult to Ubud Monkey Forest. Child tickets cost slightly less. Prices may change during peak travel months. Entry fees support animal care, staff supervision, forest maintenance, and temple conservation inside the area.
