Le Morne Brabant is a basaltic monolith on the southwestern tip of Mauritius. This mountain rises sharply from the sea in southwest Mauritius, surrounded by clear lagoons and wide beaches. It's a famous UNESCO World Heritage site symbolising freedom, sacrifice, and suffering for escaped slaves who found refuge there.
